Muskoka service routes · 2026 season
See What’s Under Your Dock
BelowDock records clear underwater video of the visible areas beneath Muskoka docks and delivers an organized digital package — no diving, no guesswork, no entry beneath the dock.
$349 CAD per standard scan. No deposit — payment is due after your scan is completed and your package is delivered.

A visual record — not an inspection
The BelowDock Underwater Video Scan is a visual underwater recording service. A technician deploys an underwater camera from a safe shore or dock position and records the visible, accessible areas beneath your dock.
- One dock per booking
- Shore or dock deployment only
- No diving or entry beneath the dock
- Organized digital delivery within 48 hours
This is not a structural inspection, engineering assessment, repair recommendation, safety certification, or pass/fail evaluation.
Objective observations only
Written notes are limited to plain descriptions of what the footage shows:
- “This component appears tilted.”
- “Hardware is not visible from this angle.”
- “Surface material is visible.”
- “Visibility is limited in this area.”
What we do not do
- Diagnose structural integrity
- Determine whether a dock is safe
- Estimate remaining service life
- Issue pass/fail grades
- Recommend repairs
- Guarantee that every component or condition will be visible

No. The BelowDock Underwater Video Scan is a visual underwater recording service. It is not a structural inspection, engineering assessment, repair recommendation, safety certification, or pass/fail evaluation.
How much does a scan cost?+
A standard BelowDock Underwater Video Scan is $349 CAD. There is no deposit and nothing is charged when you submit your request — payment is due after your scan is completed and your package is delivered.
How does scheduling work?+
BelowDock operates on geographic service routes across Muskoka. When you submit a request, your property is added to the route for your lake or area, and we contact you with the scheduled date for that route.
How soon will my dock be scanned?+
Timing depends on when your lake or area is next on the route schedule. We confirm your date by email or phone once your route day is set.
Do I need to be at the cottage?+
Not necessarily. A scan may be possible without you present if safe access, property-owner permission, and entry instructions are arranged in advance.
Will every underwater area be visible?+
No. Water clarity, vegetation, weather, dock design, depth, obstructions, and safe access can limit what the camera can record.
Do you make repair recommendations?+
No. We provide organized visual media and limited objective descriptions only. A qualified dock contractor, engineer, electrician, or other professional should provide interpretations or recommendations.
What if conditions prevent a useful scan?+
BelowDock may reschedule or decline a scan when conditions or access prevent safe operation or useful recording. The $349 is only charged when a successful scan is completed and the package is delivered.
